GRUNDY COUNTY LAUNCHES NEW EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

The CodeRed system provides Grundy County Emergency Officials with the ability to provide pre-recorded emergency telephone notification messages to a targeted area or the entire County.  Residents and business are encouraged to sign up for CodeRed to be sure they receive emergency notifications when they are issued.  Please click on the CodeRed button on the lower right side of this webpage to sign up for the service.  To find out more information about CodeRed Click Here. 
Second half payments for Property Taxes are due March 31, 2010
You can pay your taxes in person at the Treasurer's office located in the Grundy County Courthouse, online by clicking here, or by mail (must be postmarked no later than March 31st).  If you have any questions, please contact the Treasurer's Office. 
Grundy County Receives 2008 State Asphalt Paving Smoothness Award
Grundy County has received notice that we have won the 2008 Asphalt Paving Smoothness Award for County Road T-55 from Hwy 175 north to county road D-25. The award plaque will be presented at the Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa awards banquet on December 11th.  Click here to read the notice.
