ROAD WORK ON HWY 57
Black Hawk/Grundy - Beginning Thursday, April 1, construction work is scheduled to commence on IA 57 to replace a bridge in Black Hawk Co., 0.4 mile east of the Grundy Co. Line.  When work is underway, IA 57 will be closed at the project site.  A marked detour will route IA 57 traffic onto Union Rd. in Cedar Falls, and County Roads D-17 and T-55.  IA 57 will remain open to Benson from the east.  Please use caution if you need to travel near the work zone and follow the route signs when using the detour.  All items on this project are expected to be completed by early fall.

GRUNDY COUNTY LAUNCHES NEW EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
The CodeRed system provides Grundy County Emergency Officials with the ability to provide pre-recorded emergency telephone notification messages to a targeted area or the entire County.  Residents and business are encouraged to sign up for CodeRed to be sure they receive emergency notifications when they are issued.  Please click on the CodeRed button on the lower right side of this webpage to sign up for the service.  To find out more information about CodeRed click here.
